December 7 Polls: Change Is Non-negotiable Nduom

Progressive People’s Party (PPP) says a ‘change of government in the December 7 polls is non-negotiable.’ Subsequently the PPP called on the electorate to ensure that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) party is not retained in power, come December 7.

According to the PPP presidential hopeful, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, who last week toured the Brong-Ahafo Region, the economic fortunes of the country could only be unlocked by the PPP, hence his call on the electorate to vote for the party.

Speaking at a mammoth rally at Tuobodom in the Brong Ahafo Region, Dr. Nduom said if the PPP is voted into power, come December 7, it would roll-out well-structured interventions that would strengthen the economy of this country and make it a robust one.

Also at Sampa in the Jaman North constituency, Dr. Nduom lauded the indigenes for their hard work in cashew and rice production.

He underscored the need to help the youth to become independent.

In this regard, the PPP flag-bearer stressed the need for change.

In his view, “the current government has failed to live up to the expectations of majority of Ghanaians.”

He assured the people in the area that a PPP government would revamp the agriculture sector with the requisite know-how so farmers can increase their yields.

Dr. Nduom also used the occasion to introduce the party’s parliamentary aspirant, Joseph Nsoah, for the area to the constituents.

The Adonteng Hene of Sampa Traditional Area, Nana Kwadwo Masa, equally touted Dr. Nduom’s immense contributions to youth empowerment through job creation.

While wishing him well, the chief appealed to Dr. Nduom to expand his businesses in the area so as to give more jobs to the youth.

The PPP’s Brong Ahafo campaign tour took Dr. Nduom to Wenchi , Sampa in the Jaman North constituency, Japekrom-Mpuasu in the Jaman South constituency, Jinijini in the Berekum East constituency, Berekum in Berekum West constituency and Sunyani East constituency.

The rest were Sene East; Pru East; Pru West; Sene West; Attebubu Amantin and Techiman.
