Kpassa Chief Lauds Nduom; Calls On Electorate To Vote For PPP

Chief of Kpassa in the Nkwanta South district of the Volta Region, Ubor Konja Tansan VI, has urged Ghanaians to vote massively for the standard bearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP,) Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, in the December 7 polls.

The chief who together with his subjects welcomed the PPP campaign team yesterday to his palace was excited to meet Dr. Nduom.

In his opinion among all the flag-bearers who are in the December 7 race, Dr. Nduom was the most qualified.

The chief noted that all over the world, people vote for development.

In this regard, he called on Ghanaians to look at what the meaningful contributions of PPP leader to the country’s economy in the area of job creation, and vote for him.

“Others will wait to be president before they do what he [Dr. Nduom] has done. I pray to the gods that he wins,” he expressed.

“…After the 2016 elections, I hope that he (Dr. Nduom) will be declared winner and President of the Ghana so we can benefit from massive developmental agenda”, he said.

Ubor Konja Tansan VI indicated that there was no bank in the area, but added that Dr. Nduom has given “us one.”

He also urged the constituents to vote for the PPP parliamentary aspirant for the area.

Describing him as one of their “own,” the chief expressed optimism that when voted into Parliament, he would champion the interest of the constituents.

Dr. Nduom, who was overwhelmed by the traditional leader’s commendation, said: “this is the first time I’m coming to this area.”

He assured the people of his government’s support in the area of agriculture if his party wins the December election.

Earlier, Dr. Nduom interacted with residents of Tafi Mador in the Afadzato South constituency.
