NPP Did Copy And Paste Of Ayarigas Manifesto Felix Kwakye

Deputy Communications Minister, Felix Kwakye Ofosu says the New Patriotic Party [NPP] reproduced on paper Hassan Ayariga’s All People’s Congress [APC] manifesto to Ghanaians.

To him – “NPP just did a copy and paste of Ayariga’s manifesto. Its word for word, they did no change anything from Ayariga’s manifesto. That is sad and unfitting of them”

Felix noted on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ that – “NPP’s manifesto is not the best. It’s unfortunate they have to steal from another political party. They must explain to Ghanaians why they copied from Hassan Ayariga”

NPP last Sunday launched their much-awaited manifesto – it has been delayed because they fear the ruling NDC will ‘steal’ their ideas if launched ahead of them.

However – days before their launch, the ‘Elephant’ family again accused the flagbearer of the All People’s Congress of stealing the ideas and policies of its flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo and his running mate Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

Ayariga launched his party’s 2016 manifesto on Thursday, 6 October, at the Aviation Social Centre in Accra – but the NPP in a statement said "It has been revealed that the APC flagbearer replicated what Melania Trump did to Michelle Obama by copying word-for-word from policy statements outlined by the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Ayariga denied ever copying NPP’s manifesto after he urged them to feel free to copy from his manifesto but must ensure it does the copying very well.

Felix Kwakye who was speaking on the issue told host of NEAT FM’s morning show Nana Yaw Kesse that – “I just don’t understand why the NPP should do that. I think journalist must critically examine the two [APC and NPP manifesto] well. There is no difference in the two. The NPP must be ashamed of themselves”
