Referees Set For Refresher Course

A hundred and one selected referees and assistants will undergo a refresher course organised by the Ghana Football Association. The course to be run in batches at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram will see 51 referees commence the programme beginning Tuesday, October 20 with the second batch of 50 scheduled to report from October 23- 26th. Referees who make up the first batch include: Christian Zigah, Jonathan Tetteh, J. A. Amenya, Sumaila Ibrahim, David Adjin, Mary Adamah-Lamptey, Augustina Fugah, Lawrence Antwi, Michael Geli, Michael Asare, Kofi Asare, Bernard Asare and E.B. Baiden all from Accra. Those from Kumasi are Reginald Lathbridge, Lord Vuvor, Kwame Nsiah Boafo, G. K. Manu, Osei Agyemang, Akwesi Appiah Emmanuel Baah, T.O. Kankann and Richard Appiah. John Atikese, Isaac Boadi, Richard Kotey and Agyemang Duah are to report from Koforidua with Cecil Fleisher, Theresa Bremansu, Samuel Opoku, Boateng, Ben Vormavor and Isaac Bassaw coming from Takoradi. Samuel Gyesi and Tetteh Effah from Nsawam, Vincent Otto Oda, Charles Nii Tagoe Berekum, Joe Baffoe Cape Coast, Daniel Offei, Victor Dwamena and Mary Seidu all from Tema, Yakubu Nuhu Liman Wa, Solomon Mordey, M. A. Doku and Shine Ayitey Ho, V.I.K. Demakpor Hohoe,. The rest are Fred Odonkor Suhum, Mumuni Issaka Tamale, Morna James and Winfred Averu Bolgatanga, Sulemana Abudu Sunyani and Ruben Laryea Tarkwa. The second batch of referees are made up of: Joseph Lamptey, Thomas Nunoo, Vivian Aggor, Silas Okine, Charles Dowuona, E.R. Biney, David Laryea, Ashitey Armah, J.B. Smith, Sylvester Bonuedi, William Okuampah, F,D. Ocansey, R.N. Doodu, S.V. Hammond and E.O. Ankroah all from Accra. Mohammed Awal, Haruna Ayuba, Salifu Malik and Tanko Ghaniyu Tamale, Patrick Kyeremateng, Ali Musah Plato, Eric Owusu Mensah, E.T. Allotey and Kennedy Safo Adade from Kumasi. The rest are S.B. Bortey, Michael Fletcher, Sam Borquaye and Isaac Eghan all from Takoradi, Yaw Ametepe, John Dwomoh and Joseph Sey Sunyani, Seidu Bomison, Badin Ibrahim Adams and Issaka B.
