NDC Is Corrupt Mrs. Rawlings Declares

Leader and Founder of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Mrs. Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, has bemoaned what she describes as “deep corruption and incompetence” in the Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) which is leading the country into a ditch.

According to the former first lady, she is saddened by the hunger for corruption by Mahama and his appointees, defying the basis upon which his husband, JJ Rawlings, formed the NDC, on probity and accountability.

Addressing supporters of NDP at Atimatim in the Kwabre South constituency in the Ashanti Region, Mrs. Rawlings described the government as “insensitive with the constant increment of taxes, import duties and the collapse of the NHIS.”

She urged Ghanaians to vote out President Dramani Mahama and his NDC party on December 7.

“When officials of the NDC come here to bribe you to vote for them, take the money but remember to vote them out to safeguard your future and that of your unborn child, the economy is being run down and will collapse if we keep Mahama,” she told the gathering.

As part of her tour in the area, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings paid a courtesy call on the chiefs and people and asked for their blessings to enable her win the December 7 elections.
