A former General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has said that the Mahama-led government has messed up the economy and therefore do not deserve another term in office.
According to Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu-Afriyie, the economy President Mahama came to meet has worsened terribly despite his assurances every year that the economy was going to turn around.
“Is Mahama really living in this country, can’t he see the suffering he has subjected Ghanaians to? The resources are there but Mahama and his people are just messing up with all the monies in the country. We need to sack these thieves else they will sell all of us,” he said on Adom FM's Morning Show, 'Dwaso Nsem' on Friday.
Though President Mahama has touted the achievements of his government and said a strong foundation had been laid for the economic take-off, Lawyer Owusu-Afriyie also known as Sir John maintained that President Mahama and his subordinates have managed to mess the economy to the level that it will take a long time to stabilise.
The outspoken politician revealed that the disorder caused by the current NDC administration has forced President Mahama to constantly tell lies on issues and challenges facing the nation.
He, therefore, called on Ghanaians to kick the Mahama administration out for messing up the economy of Ghana.
