Nana Gives Hope To Tafo

Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has assured the people of Tafo in Kumasi that when elected as president, his government would transform the area.

He expressed gross concern about how Tafo, which is a popular area in Kumasi, has been neglected by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.

Nana Akufo-Addo, who was on a campaign tour of Tafo, said he did not see any meaningful project that befits the area’s status.

He said most of the road networks at Tafo and its environs are in deplorable state – a clear sign that the NDC administration had neglected the area.

He therefore, assured that his administration would transform Tafo like Asokore Mampong.

He passionately appealed to the people of the Ashanti Region to vote massively for him on December 7 to become the next president.

Nana Akufo-Addo said his administration would distribute the national cake fairly.

The NPP leader made the comments when he paid a courtesy call on Nana Agyen Frimpong II, Tafohene, at his palace.

Nana Akufo-Addo said he came close to winning the presidential poll on two occasions – 2008 and 201 – and he is hopeful that he will finally win the slot this year.

Nana Agyen Frimpong II, in his succinct remarks, said Tafo needs more developmental projects to help transform the lives of the populace.

He said Tafo should have been a municipality now but sadly, the place is still a sub-metro, which is not the best.
