The Deputy National Research Director of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has warned activists of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to desist from vile propaganda or face the wrath of God.
According to Peter Otokunor, God is likely to penalize the biggest opposition party in this country for their untruthfulness and deceit.
"God will assess the lies of the NPP and curse them so they can't come close to the Flagstaff House. They lie about everything just because they want to win the upcoming elections," he said of UTV's Adekye Nsoroma.
The Deputy NDC Director of Research made this comment in reaction to an allegation by his co-panelist, Joe Donkor, the 1st Vice NPP Chairman in the Central Regional, that the ruling NDC has run down all viable state institutions including the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
Joe Donkor was of the view that the NPP would have a lot of work to do by creatively and innovatively revamping all state establishment, including the NHIS, to get them up and running.
"..we will have to work hard after we (NPP) win the 2016 general elections to restore the NHIS since the ruling NDC has collapsed it."
However, Peter Otokunor could not understand why the NPP, especially Members of Parliament, boast of registering large numbers of their constituents onto the health scheme secretly but condemn it in the media.
"They go around claiming NHIS has collapsed but their Parliamentary Candidates go around bragging of paying for huge numbers to be registered of their constituents for free...so the question is, why would you want to put your people on a scheme that has collapsed? He quizzed.
