Whether you supported me or not; whether you voted for me or not, I can promise you one thing, I will do my best to serve your interest to put this country back on the path of progress" said President-elect, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo.
Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo was on Friday night declared winner of the presidential election two days after close of polls 5:00pm Wednesday.
He won by a 53.85% margin in the elections.
Addressing party supporters, Friday night after Madam Charlotte Osei declared him winner, the President-elect said he will not discriminate and that he will be President for all.
"God did not put us on this rich land to be poor, I am confident and I have faith that with God’s guidance…we will move our country forward. Together we will change Ghana and use all the blessings that the Almighty has bestowed on us to bring prosperity to our people. Together we can fulfill the destiny of Ghana…God bless our homeland Ghana and make our nation great and strong. The battle is still the Lord’s" he added.
