Next Gov't Must Institutionalize A Private Body To Focus On Peace Building- AMASS Ghana

The Office of Amass Ghana wish to extend its Christmas and New Year greetings to the good people of Ghana, home and abroad.

Not forgetting the priesthood, the Muslim community, traditional authorities, CSO’s, individuals and various political parties for their enviable role in the just ended general elections.

Amass Ghana over the years bought into your ideas of observing peace as a tool for togetherness and business-ridden in our society and such efforts cannot be downplayed.

Even when Ghanaians were pregnant with fear of violence at the time when the populace were prepping themselves to elect a president for the fourth republic. Notwithstanding, such anxieties were not succumb prior to the D-day because of the love we invested in ourselves as a nation.

Going into yet another new year with new government, expectations are weighing high but patients should be our hallmark.

We have demonstrated ourselves remarkably to the world's diaspora that democracy has gone down well with us and must continue to be observed in all times.

For this reason, Amass Ghana will continue to prosecute its peace and security mission with a call on the next government to institutionalize a private body that will focus mainly on peace building and security.
