'I Will Not Abandon NDC Projects'- MP-Elect

Alhaji Boniface Abubakar Saddique, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament-elect for Madina, says he will ensure that all projects started by the National Democratic Congress in the constituency are completed.

He said for the constituency to be developed, there was the need for the people to champion the cause of unity and hard work.

Alhaji Saddique was speaking at a meeting with the chiefs and people of the Constituency as part of his Thank You tour, at Madina.

He said the one step forward and five steps backwards attitude, which led to successive governments abandoning projects initiated by their predecessors did not augur well for the country’s infant democracy.

“We need to get ourselves together as one people, one nation with one destiny,” he said adding that by so doing the nation would move forward in terms of development.

Alhaji Saddique said he would introduce youth empowerment and also set up Education Trust Fund to support parents who found it difficult to pay the fees of their wards.

He assured them that the incoming government under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo would put in place a policy framework that would help businesses expand and create jobs as well as promote entrepreneurship opportunities for Ghanaians.
