King Mohammed VI Postpones Visit To Ghana

His Majesty King Mohammed VI, of the Kingdom of Morocco, has postponed his scheduled visit to Ghana. King Mohammed VI was expected to begin an official visit to Ghana today.  

The visit which has been postponed was aimed at deepening the existing, cordial relations between Ghana and Morocco, as well as present an opportunity to define new areas of co-operation that would serve the mutual interests of the two countries.

President Akufo-Addo was expected to hold bilateral talks with King Mohammed VI, before hosting him to an official lunch at the Presidency on Friday, January 20, 2017.

Director of Communications at Flagstaff House, Mr. Eugene Arhin noted in a release copied to Peacefmonline.com. that a new date for the King's visit will be communicated in due course.

STATEMENT ON THE POSTPONEMENT OF THE VISIT TO GHANA OF KING MOHAMMED VI

Unfortunately, His Majesty the King, Mohammed VI, King of Morocco, has had to postpone his scheduled visit to Ghana. A new date for the visit will be communicated in due course.
