Hearts Players Boycott Training Over Five Months Unpaid Salaries

Players of Accra Hearts of Oak have boycotted training over unpaid salaries, Ghanasportsonline.com can report.

Sources reveal the players refused to show-up at training on Tuesday morning over outstanding arrears.

Reports indicate players of the Club have not been paid for the past five months which has resulted in their decision to boycott training.

This comes days before the team’s opening League game against Inter-Allies.

Hearts of Oak will take on Inter-Allies at the El Wak Sports stadium in match-day one of the League on Sunday.

Accra Hearts of Oak have been in financial crises in recent times which is believed to have resulted in the team struggling to appoint a new Coach ahead of the season.

Nigerian Coach Paul Aiobogun pulled out of the Hearts Coaching role after Hearts reportedly fail to agree financial terms with the former Enyimba Coach.
