NPP Elders Are Very Wicked- Former NDC MP

Elders in the New Patriotic Party may appear in angelic faces but inside their heart, abounds vengeance.

Former Member of Parliament for the Twifo Atti Morkwa Constituency and a member of the National Democratic Congress, Hon. Samuel Ato Amoah, has blamed NPP elders for being the main villains influencing their younger members to use rogue tactics to retrieve properties from former government officials.

Persons suspected to be military men on Wednesday, February 1, 15 stormed the private residence of Kofi Adams at Golf City in Tema and seized all his five vehicles.

National Security officers and personnel from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) reportedly spearheaded the raid.

The vehicles seized include two Land Cruisers and three Pick Ups belonging to his brother.

In the interest of the nation, the new NPP administration set up a task force team to recover assets which belong to the nation.

A directive from the Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, to the general public, entreated all persons who have acquired state properties in an unlawful way to hand them over with immediate effect.

As a result, a team, comprising officials from the Police, Customs Division, BNI, DVLA and the Office of the President was assembled to retrieve such belongings.

But speaking on ATV’s political affairs show dubbed Asem Yi Di Ka, the former NDC legislator noted that the current NPP administration has no record to show that former members of the NDC have stolen cars belonging to the state.

“They (NPP) don’t have any record to prove there are missing cars. The approach they are using is just a vindictive method…when we question them concerning the rogue approach they are using, they only say NDC people did the same to them when they took over power, so they are also repaying them now. But the elders in the NP are very vindictive and they are the ones instigating the young ones to apply this unruly act”, he said.
