The Georgia House of Representatives have recognized Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, one of the Presidential candidates of the recent Presidential elections in Ghana.
Dr. Nduom, is also the President and Chairman of Groupe Nduom which has businesses in West Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

A RESOLUTION
1 Recognizing and commending Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom; and for other purposes.
2 WHEREAS, Dr. Nduom has had a tremendous impact on his community through his spirit
3 of service and desire to improve the quality of life in the United States and West Africa; and
4 WHEREAS, he has established a glowing reputation of renown for his dedication and high
5 ideals and has an impeccable service record as an economist, a budget and management
6 analyst, and a service delivery systems consultant during the last three and one-half decades,
7 excelling as a life insurance underwriter with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company
8 and Blue Cross Blue Shield in Wisconsin; and a budget and management analyst at the
9 Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District; an associate consultant and one of the six
10 African Americans out of over 800 partners/shareholders in Deloitte & Touche; and
11 WHEREAS, Dr. Nduom obtained his bachelor, master, and doctorate degrees from the
12 University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; and
13 WHEREAS, he has established himself as a capable and intelligent leader in both the United
14 States and Ghana, having helped found the Progressive People’s Party, a major political force
15 in Ghana, and Deloitte & Touche, West Africa Consulting, and as owner of Group Nduom,
16 a multinational conglomerate with about 60 companies in Ghana, Liberia, Togo, La Cote
17 the United Kingdom, and the United States, with his wife, Yvonne; and
18 WHEREAS, his significant organizational and leadership talents, his remarkable patience
19 and diplomacy, his keen sense of vision, and his sensitivity to the needs of others have earned
20 him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and associates; and
21 WHEREAS, Dr. Nduom is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable
22 reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and
23 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
24 extraordinary individual be appropriately recognized.
25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
26 the members of this body recognize and commend Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom for his many
27 valuable contributions on behalf of the citizens of Georgia and extend best wishes for his
28 continued success.
29 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
30 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Dr.
31 Papa Kwesi Nduom.
Commenting on the honour done him, Dr. Nduom wrote on his Facebook page ‘My sincere and big "Thank You!" To the Ghana Council of Georgia and the Georgia House of Representatives. I am grateful for the recognition.’
