Paper Work Delays Gyan Debut

Baffour Gyan will have to wait a little longer before making his awaited debut for Asante Kotoko in the Glo Premier League. The 29-year-old was lined up for his first League match against his former team Liberty Professionals on Sunday but has been held back due to the late arrival of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC). The former Black Stars striker began training with the Kumasi-based club on Monday and the fans are itching to see him play. Gyan, elder brother of Stade Rennes striker Asamoah Gyan, wants to re-launch his career. He has scored 11 international goals in 33 appearances.
