Award winning Kumawood actress, Matilda Asare has officially introduced her bouncing baby boy, Jordan Akufo-Addo Sarfo to his Godfather, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Matilda Asare gave birth in Massachusetts, in the United States on February 5 – she christened the baby after Ghana’s first gentleman.

The award winning actress over the weekend visited the president at the seat of government, Flagstaff House to also congratulate him for his victory in the December 7 election.

The hardworking actress, despite carrying a developing baby for six months campaigned energetically to ensure Nana Addo becomes president – which has come to pass.

She publicly endorsed now President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the heat of campaign.

Whilst many think it’s inappropriate for entertainers to declare their support for political parties, Matilda together with veteran actor Agya Koo launched “Agya Koo Agenda 57% 4 Nana Akufo-Addo” and campaigned across the country for Nana Addo.
