Bugri Naabu’s Residence Now An “Abattoir” – NPP Women’s Organiser

Tamale Central Women’s Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern Region has cautioned the Northern Regional Chairman of the party, Bugri Naabu, to stop peddling lies against the Gender Minister, Otiko Djaba.

Suraya Manan told NEAT FM’s morning show host, Kwasi Aboagye that she has more information on the national chairman’s fraudulent behavior in the region.

She was emphatic that claims by the Gender Minister, Madam Otiko Djaba that Mr. Bugri Naabu extorts “goats, sheep and guinea fowls” from party members who want various positions in the Nana Addo government are all true.

Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show dubbed ‘Ghana Montie’ - Suraya Manan alleged that, “Bugri Naabu’s house is now an abattoir. He should keep his mouth shut if he doesn’t want any trouble. We know all what he is doing”

Her comment comes after the regional chairman for the NPP in the Northern region, Bugri Naabu on Friday led a group of angry women to disrupt a meeting organized by the Gender Minister, Otiko Djaba.

According to him, the meeting was illegal and that, the Minister failed to inform him and other regional executives. The president he fumed cannot come to the region without informing the executives.

The Minister according to reports organized the meeting to introduce to the crowd, the new coordinator for the school feeding programme in the region.

"Even the President cannot come to the region without informing the regional chairman and his executives for his intention of coming to the region,” Bugri Naabu was reported to have said

The Minister sensing danger, called armed policemen and personnel from the military to maintain law and order – after which she accused the regional chairman of taking bribe.
