“The First Round Has Been Challenging For Wa All Stars”

Enos Kwame Adepa, the head coach of Wa All Stars, has said, he is pleased with his side’s first round performance amidst the challenges they have been through.

In an interview with GNA Sports, Coach Adepa stated that, it is always tough to have a better season, as a defending champion but Wa All Stars have been impressive thus far.

“We have had a challenging first round of the league, there is no problem in the team, but I would have to say it has been tough for us.

“We expected it though, because defending the premier league has always been tough even for the bigger sides in Ghana football.

“Wa All Stars are not given up yet, we are in contention at the moment and we are going to work hard. We are blending many young players with our three or four old players and obviously we are doing well.
“So far so good, I am not disappointed with our performance, we are handling things rightly and hopefully we would finish the first round in the Top 4.

Coach Enos Adepa also confirmed the eminent transfer of star striker Richard Arthur to Kumasi Asante Kotoko adding that the attacker’s absence would not affect his side badly.

“Richard Arthur will join Kotoko for the second round of the season, the deal its almost sealed, but his departure would not affect us so badly although he has been great for us.

“We have played a couple of matches, without him and we won, he is a good player but his absence would not affect as so badly”. He added
