Milovan Rajevac is happy to welcome back some regular players who missed out of Ghana�s penultimate 2010 African Nations Cup and World Cup qualifying campaign.
Suspension to Sulley Muntari for the match away to Benin, the unavailability of Kwadwo Asamoah due to injury then illness to Anthony Annan before kickoff and the absence of John Mensah denied Ghana their services.
Now comes the calm, as Rajevac will have three out of the four � Mensah still out due to injury - available for selection against Mali at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday.
�It�s important to have your regular for every game. We had some problems in our last game [defeat to Benin away].
There were suspensions, injuries and illness in our camp.
�Sulley was suspended. Asamoah was not ready by then and Annan couldn�t be part of the game because he was not well. But now, we have all back and it�s good to have such options in the team. It is good for us,� Rajevac told www.ghanafa.org.
Despite the trio being available for selection, Rajevac has admitted he is concerned by John Mensah's niggling injuries. Mensah's appearances for club and country have been limited because of a recurrence with injuries. The deputy Black Stars captain is sidelined by a calf injury.
It means Mensah has missed four of the total 12 games in the 2010 African Nations Cup and World Cup qualifying campaign for Ghana. �He is very important and crucial to the team. Of course I am worried with the situation and hopes he recovers.
�We have other options but don�t have a replacement for him. Other can step in but Mensah is of a different class. I just hope we would stay fit as we have important competitions coming up.�But I hope my players stay off any injuries from now till the Nations Cup and also to the World Cup,� the Black Stars coach said.
