DCE Inspires Final Year Pupils

The District Chief Executive of the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region, Hon Ransford Kwesi Nyarko, has inspired the final year BECE pupils within the district charging them to seize the platform provided them by education as a means to achieve their
aspirations in live.

He said this during a mathematical set donation exercise targeted at the over 2000 final year pupils in the Junior High Schools within the district.

Hon Ransford Nyarko urged them to concentrate on their studies.

He advised them not to waste their time to viewing telenovelas and wasting time on watching television but rather a period of absolute concentration on their studies.

Receiving the items, the district Director of education, Mrs. Martha Acquah was full of praise to Hon. Ransford Nyarko, calling it a novelty in the district. She stated that, she is looking forward to working with Hon. Nyarko to uplift the educational standard within the
district.

Millicent Sam, one of the beneficiaries from Brofoyedur D/A JHS thanked Hon. Nyarko for his kind gesture and promised that, they will give the district a good reason to invest more in education.

Interacting with the press, the District G.E.S. PRO, Mr. Bright Abeka-Mensah said that, this is a first of its kind and was of the opinion that such gesture will save some guardians the hustle of
acquiring mathematical sets for their wards.

He continued that, the donation will boost the confidence of the pupils since all of them will be entering the examination hall with a brand new mathematical set.

The DCE, appealed to the District Directorate of Education to do
everything possible to ensure that, every candidate receives his or her mathematical set before the start of exam on Monday.
