Ho-Kpodzi E.P Church gives to Children's Ward

Dela Parish of the Ho-Kpodzi Evangelical Presbyterian (E.P) Church, on Friday presented assorted items worth 200 Ghana Cedis to the Children's Ward of the Ho Municipal Hospital as Christmas gifts to children on admission. The items include detergents, soaps, fruits, and loaves of bread, cartons of biscuits, beverages and toys. Presenting the items, Reverend Emmanuel Tibu, Pastor- in- charge of the Parish, prayed for the quick recovery of the children and hoped the items would facilitate that process. He said children were future leaders of society and urged nurses to continue their sacrifices to the sick especially children to secure good future for the nation. Reverend Tibu advised nurses to be patient with the sick and work with love and care, which he said helps patients to recover. Ms. Rebecca Abiti, Head of the Ward, who received the items, expressed gratitude to the Church for its continued support to the Hospital and the Children's Ward in particular. She said the items were timely and would be used as food supplement to children on admission. Members of the Church also organized general cleaning at the Hospital in readiness for the Christmas.
