Nana Ofori Owusu To Contest PPP National Chairman Race

Director of Operations of the Progressive People's Party (PPP) Nana Ofori Owusu has hinted he will contest National Chairman position of the party.

According to him, he will enter the race when the party's National Committee opens nominations.

The investment banker disclosed this exclusively on Peace FM's Flagship programme 'Kokrokoo'.

The staunch PPP activist was enthused about his new venture and was optimistic under his leadership; the PPP will make great strides in Elections 2020.

He noted that the party is poised for victory, hence the need for him to vie for the National Chairman seat.

As Director of Operations for the party, Nana Ofori Owusu has proven to bear the requisite leadership qualities to march the PPP into governance.

Mr. Ofori Owusu is a firm believer in the tenants of the PPP and has served with all his heart and soul, and his knowledge of organization, commitment and service is what many believe will help build a robust Progressive People’s Party.


About Nana Ofori Owusu

Nana Ofori Owusu is a son of a diplomat who served with the Ghana Mission to the United States.

He did his formal education in the US and has worked as an Assistant to Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom at the Ministry of Energy and Public Sector Reform under the erstwhile Kufour government.

He has also worked with the Millennium Development Authority.

Nana Ofori Owusu is an expert in Business Re-engineering and specializes in taking distressed companies and bringing them into profitability.

He also served as the Chief Organizer of Movement, a political pressure group that reorganized the CPP from 2002 to 2008 and is currently responsible for recruiting many of the young leadership in the PPP today.

He led the PPP to be registered as a political party in 2012, in record time and has since served as the Director of Operations to date without blemish.

He also contested Parliamentary seat at Efutu constituency on the ticket of the party in the years 2012 and 2016.

He is married with four (4) biological children and two adopted children.
