CETAG To Intensify Strike Action

The National Secretary for Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG), Mr. Prince Obeng-Himah has stated that they are going to "press on" their strike action which started three weeks ago.

According to him the Association has taken such decision because the Ministry of Finance has failed them once again for failing to produce documents which will state clear the particular date and month their research and other allowances will be paid during their first meeting with the Ministry.

Again, he has charged the students at the various colleges of education to also blame the Finance Ministry for their strike action.

He further explained that their strike action has nothing to do with politics as it has been circulating on some social media platforms that they have been influenced by an opposition party.
