The family of the late Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA) has announced the day for his burial and the final funeral rites.
According to the family, he will be buried on December 16.
This was disclosed by the family head, Elder George Nyarko, at the one-week commemoration of the late presenter at the forecourt of The Multimedia Group Limited at Kokomlemle in Accra on Saturday.
He said the funeral rites of the late journalist will take place from December 15 to December 17, 2017.
He however, explained that the family was yet to decide where the late journalist would be buried.
KABA was the host of Asempa FM’s afternoon political show, Ekosii Sen, until his death on November 18, 2017, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
He left behind a widow, Valentina Ofori Afriyie and a daughter.
Meanwhile, former President John Kufuor, businessman Ibrahim Mahama and owner of Despite Group of Companies among others, have donated towards the late KABA’s funeral.
Also present at the week-one commemoration was the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
