Be Patient, Better Days Ahead - Minister Assures

The Greater Accra Regional Minister Hon. Ishmael Ashitey has appealed to Ghanaians to exercise restraint and patience with the Nana Addo led New Patriotic Party [NPP] administration since there are better days ahead.

He noted that, the current seeming no-money syndrome perceived by some Ghanaians, is as a result of the prudent economic measures government has put in place to arrest and improve the ailing economy it inherited from the erstwhile National Democratic Congress [NDC] government.

Hon. Ashitey made this known in an interview with this paper in his office last week.

According to him, it is not that, there is no money in the system, but rather there are not enough jobs in the system, hence this syndrome. And this is exactly what the government intends to arrest by the creation of jobs via such programmes such as “planting for food and jobs via such programmes as “planting for food and jobs” , “1 village, 1 dam” , “1 District, 1 factory” and many more.

The Regional Minister assured Ghanaians that, latest by the mid of next year, things would have changed for the better to the benefit and enjoyment of all Ghanaians, irrespective of their political religious, cultural etc background and alienations.
