The National Youth Coordinator of the Progressive People's Party (PPP), Divine Nkrumah wants any mishap that is likely to befall the nation to first strike the leadership of the country and their entire family.

He explained that “Our leaders don’t have the nation at heart. They always take the voters for granted.”

Divine Nkrumah expressed worry at how the Mahama administration ruled the country in a “shambolic” way before handling over power to the current government.

To him, the Mahama-led government disbursed public funds to individuals’ benefit.

Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, the PPP youth leader warned the Nana Addo-led government not emulate the ‘incompetence’ exhibited by the previous government.

“This government should think more about the people not their personal interest. They should provide for the people who voted them into power and protect them. I always pray to God that, if any calamity will fall on this nation, it should first strike our leaders. The people cannot always suffer”, he said.
