Cash-for-seat: I Blame Akufo-Addo For The Mess – TerLarbi

Member of Parliament (MP) for Lower Manya Constituency in the Eastern Region, Hon Ebenezer Okletey TerLabi says he will forever blame President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for all the brouhaha in the cash for seat saga.

According to him, the President deliberately, during his recent encounter with the press dismissed the allegations and described it as politically motivated and without merit, when the committee was still investigating it.

“I am making such an utterance because I can say for a fact that the committee set to probe the case can never give a judgment differently from what the President had already said, since he has through his statement intervened and influenced members of the committee especially the majority in parliament on the committee”, he said.

Speaking on UTV’s panel discussion segment of the ‘Adekye Nsroma’ programme, Hon. Okletey TerLabi stressed “There is no one else for us to blame on how the investigations by the bi-partisan committee have been like on this case. The President influenced the integrity and the actions of the committee members per his statement made to the press recently in respect to the saga”.

According to him, the President indirectly directed the committee with the kind of report they need to present at the end of their findings.
