Hearts of Oak Confirm Accra Return Decision

Hearts of Oak have confirmed they have taken a look at the Alhaji Sly Tetteh Memorial Park in a bid to switch their home venue to Accra.

The 20-time Ghanaian champions opted to play their home games at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium after the Accra Sports Stadium was shut down.

Hearts have suffered defeats at the venue which has left their fans embittered and are calling for the team to return to Accra.

And, club Spokesperson Kwame Opare Addo has revealed the club has inspected Liberty Professionals’ playing grounds in a bid to return to Accra.

“Yes we have taken a look at Karl Reinhdorf but the decision has not been made yet,” he told Accra-based Class FM.

Hearts have spent season’s at the Accra Sports Stadium until the stadium down for renovations.
