Nana Is Smart Says Chief Imam

The Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, Sheikh Abdul Mumin Haroun, has described President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as a smart and intelligent person.

He said the president periodically visits the mosque to receive Muslim prayers for Allah’s protection and guidance.

This, according to the top Muslim cleric, has made President Nana Akufo-Addo successful.

According to him, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, aka ‘Wontumi’, the Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman, is emulating President Nana Akufo-Addo.

Sheikh Mumin Haroun urged Wontumi to continue to frequently seek Allah’s protection and guidance in order to be successful in his political career.

“President Nana Akufo-Addo is a smart person, he frequently visits the mosque for prayers and that is the reason for his success as a politician. Gradually, Wontumi is learning from President Nana Akufo-Addo, and I will urge him to continue visiting the mosque for prayers and he will also be successful”.

The Ashanti Regional Chief Imam disclosed this when the Ashanti Regional executives of the NPP visited the mosque recently for prayers.

Wontumi, Kwabena Nsenkyire, Nana Ama Ampomah, Francis Adomako, Sam Pyne, Sam Cudjoe and other regional executives were present at the mosque.

Sheikh Mumin Haroun entreated the NPP regional executives to work in peace to effectively develop the political party.

He sternly warned the executives against infighting, indicating that such weird acts could negatively affect their administration and political party.

The Chief Imam also admonished the new executives not to marginalize other party members who contested against them during the party’s regional elections.

According to him, the party would develop immensely if the executives unite the rank and file of the NPP.

Sheikh Mumin Haroun also appealed to people who lost the NPP regional elections to offer support to the newly-elected executives in the supreme interest of the party.

Fervent prayers were said for President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr Bawumia, Ministers of state and Ghanaians in general.
