Police in the Eastern Region are investigating a case of suspected unnatural death of an American citizen, Norman Sun Harris, believed to be around the age of 65 at Boti Falls.

Norman Sun Harris was contracted by the management of Boti Water Falls to construct a canopy walkway at the resort.

The American citizen reportedly fell sick on 29th May, 2018 and sought treatment at the Eastern Regional Hospital where he was treated and discharged.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Command, ASP Ebenezer Tetteh, a tour guard at the Boti Waterfalls and three others went to check on him on 31st May, 2018 at about 9 am but found him dead in his room.

ASP Tetteh said Police proceeded to the scene and conveyed the body to the Eastern Regional Hospital morgue, pending autopsy.

According to ASP Tetteh,  The Police have commenced investigations into the matter.
