Danny Nettey gives True Worship on Christmas Day

A time when many seek to know the true meaning and essence of Christmas, only a few have come to terms with it- Christmas is not just about eating and having fun but it is a time for accepting that a saviour has been born unto us and it is also a time for giving. Danny Nettey, one of the countrys finest gospel musicians brought this to light at his Coca Cola Christmas with Danny Nettey at the plush Mensvic Grand Hotel at East Legon on Christmas Day. From the word go, the packed [concert]hall was spirit filled as the artistes billed for the night, Kwasi Oteng, A.B. Crentsil Jnr, Nii Okai and Celestine started mounting the stage. As they dished out their Holy Spirit filled tunes, many patrons were totally lost in a trance with others, either kneeling or lying flat to the glory of the most high God. Celestine Donkor took the patrons to the realms of the Supernatural and then Nii Okai filled the hall with his rendition of the popular Christmas tune Oh holy night. Then, the moment came, Danny Nettey walked majestically through the hall to the stage drawing loud cheers and applauds from the teeming crowd. With the backing of a 15 piece-band, Danny Nettey mysterious started his performance with a song that enabled him to try his hands on some rap, which he delivered masterfully. Pastor Helen Yawson mounted the stage to help Danny sing their rendition of I wanna be the only one by Bebe Winans. From songs like; In your presence, Let your presence, Let your presence fall, and Stay with me and Lord Make me over, the patrons couldnt resist the temptations of singing all night long.
