Stakeholders in justice delivery asked to be fair, firm

A clergyman has charged institutions and officials responsible for the dispensation of justice in the country to be fair and firm in their decisions, to prevent innocent people from going to jail. The Most Reverend Thomas Kwaku Mensah, Metropolitan Catholic Archbishop of Kumasi, said: "peace is the fruit of fair play and justice." The clergyman, who was sharing the gospel with inmates of the Kumasi Central Prisons on Tuesday, urged the prisoners to reform and lead new lives after their release. Rev. Mensah asked Ghanaians to uphold the dignity of one another and respect law and order. Deputy Director of Prisons Joseph Kwaw-Yankson, Ashanti Regional Prisons Commander, commended the Church for supporting the Prisons.
