Henry Nana Boakye, the newly National Youth Organizer elect of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed his appreciation to the teaming youth wing of the party, Regional, Constituency Youth Organizers and their Deputies, Tescon Presidents and all of the NPP Youth Wing for their unflinching support for him during the just ended national delegate’s conference.

According to him, he could not have won without their overwhelming endorsement and unflinching support.

“Thank you! Teeming youth of our great party, I am grateful for your endorsement and support” he said.

In a statement, he reiterated the cause to build the most formidable Youth Wing on the continent and he believes with the mighty hands of God on full force and collective abilities, he will deliver.

“You made a bold statement that the Youth of our Party appreciate the magnitude of the task ahead and are yearning for a leadership that can complement the great efforts of H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo in consolidating the giant strides we have made so far in building our Party and Nation. I cannot lose sight of this assignment and pledge my unwavering commitment in vindicating the trust you reposed in me.”

Last Saturday, at the National Delegates Conference in Koforidua, you gave me, by an overwhelming endorsement, the opportunity to step into the huge shoes of Sammy Awuku to lead the Youth of our great Party for the next four years.

You made a bold statement that the Youth of our Party appreciate the magnitude of the task ahead and are yearning for a leadership that can complement the great efforts of H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo in consolidating the giant strides we have made so far in building our Party and Nation. I cannot lose sight of this assignment and pledge my unwavering commitment in vindicating the trust you reposed in me.

Last Saturday's decision brought closure to a fierce competition I was locked in with my brothers, Dominic Eduah, kamal Deen Abdulai and Nana Bediako. I say kudos to my brothers for the spirited fight. You really gave me a run for my money. The Youth Wing of our party will be counting on the depth of your experience in winning the battle ahead. You remain strong allies in this cause.

Our victory was won on the sweat of many people who defied great odds and made huge sacrifices in making this day a reality. To them, I am eternally grateful.

To all our able Regional, Constituency Youth Organizers and their Deputies, Tescon Presidents and all of the NPP Youth Wing, this victory is for you. The time is here for us to unite and work hard in meeting the huge expectations of our teeming youth. We cannot let our party down. We cannot fail our Nation!

The cause remains building the most formidable Youth Wing on our continent and with the mighty hands of God in full force and our collective abilities, we will deliver.

Once again, I am grateful!
