Burkina Faso Hit The Ground In Angola

The delegation is made up of 17 players and four managers. On arrival at the international airport 4 de Fevereiro, in Luanda, Burkina Fasos assistant coach, Paulo Pedro, told the media at a conference that his troops are encouraged and willing to play hard to reach the quarter finals. We have done a good work and when it comes to the competition, we will be even better, for sure, he stressed. Paulo Pedro added that it was important to arrive early at the place of the competition, with no pressure from trips, aiming at a better adaptation to the countrys climate and to achieve good results. The coach was diplomatic on their chances against fellow Group B opponents, Cte d'Ivoire, Ghana and Togo saying only that all teams overcome many barriers to get to this phase. However the master tactician believes every team stands a chance and respects the other teams in their group. He was quick to advise that his team has also its qualities and will do its best to achieve its goals, adding that they certainly won't be pushovers. Paulo Pedro appealed for his supporters to see their team as a team that will do their best, with great will and determination to dignify the name of its country. The Burkina Faso national team is already traveling to Cabinda and plays on January 11th against Cte dIvoire.
