Kojo Bonsu Doesn't Have What It Takes To Be Prez In Ghana

Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Kobina Ade Coker has emphatically stated he is not dishonoring Kojo Bonsu contention to contest NDC’s flagbeareship race, just because his candidate is part of the race.

Rather, even though there is no school for someone aspiring to be president, he [Kojo Bonsu] is nowhere near presidency position.

….In my capacity as member of the NDC, my capacity as Ade Coker and as Regional Chairman, I can foresee and determine per my criteria that Kojo Bonsu does not befit the journey he wants to start and will not get anywhere. He should maintain his political stability and forget joining the flagbearership race for he will get zero,” he said.

Ade Coker, who was contributing in a panel discussion on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’, cautioned the former KMA boss not to think and perceive Ghana as a small country under a sea which has no future.

Though he concedes Kojo Bonsu has the right to run for political office due to the party's democratic background, that of flagbearer is way above his credentials.

We are not talking about a small country under Madagascar somewhere that will disappear in no time but we are talking about Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana,” he added.

To Mr Ade Coker, the flagbearer-aspirant's decision was borne out of sour grape.

…I have known Kojo Bonsu for over thirty years and to be honest he does not have what it takes to manage Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana....he should get it at the back of his mind that decisions taken in an angry mood does not make one succeed

...he [Kojo Boadu] claims to have been left out to be member of former President Mahama’s Campaign team, because he wanted to be the manager of the Campaign Team. This is even too childish on his part,” the NDC Greater Accra Regional Chairman stated.
