Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum has disclosed that gold track of the double track system are to report to their various schools on the 10th of November this year.

He says per the education calendar of the double track system the green track will vacate on the 7th of November to pave way for the Gold track students.

Speaking on Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he indicated that government has made every necessary payment for the Gold track students to commence education on the 10th of next month.

"We have three tracks that we are on; form 3, form 2 and part of form 1. Now it’s left with the other half and we are looking forward to welcoming them to our schools.

"I want to take this opportunity to also inform the parents that if they have not registered, they should please go to their schools and register.

"Very important they need to go to their schools to register and secure their spots,” he said.

He added that the ministry is very well prepared, and the list of teachers would be ready this week, and there would be enough time for them to prepare.

Whilst they are away with the three (3) days, we will prepare the various classrooms for them.

However, the green track will join the Gold for another two (2) months after their break for them to complete the term.
