TOR Fire-outbreak; One Person Dead!

Reports reaching Peacefmonline.com indicates that one person believed to be a worker of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) was burnt to death beyond recognition, while another sustained serious degrees of burns after another major fire outbreak has hit the nation, gutting the loading terminal of the Refinery's complex. It is believed the victim is called Ebo Fryer, a staff of TOR. The blaze, which destroyed a substantial part of the TOR complex, was too huge to be extinguished by the refinery's fire brigade, thus requiring the assistance of the Ghana National Fire Service to help contain it. Peacefm's on-air presenter, Joe De-Graft Aikins (Joe Diggy), who is at the scene of the fire outbreak says six tankers were burnt completely while a seventh, in an attempt to escape the blaze, ran into a drain. According to him, they were huge clouds of thick, black, acrid oily smoke and flames leaping out of the loading section of the refinery. Details of the source of the inferno are still sketchy, but reports say it has caused extensive damage to property. More soon.
