Metro Mass Boss Salutes Nana

THE ASHANTI Regional Boss of the Metro Mass Transit (MMT), Nicholas Oduro, has showered tons of praises on President Nana Akufo-Addo for his strong desire to develop the transport sector in order to enhance the movement of people and goods in the country.

He, therefore, expressed confidence that the sector, notably the MMT, would experience massive improvement under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

Oduro, whose one-year stint as Depot Manager of MMT in Kumasi, has led to massive infrastructural and operational transformation, also led to a deal with the ECG to prepare a payment plan for the GH¢240,000 power debt that he had inherited.

In addition to the reconstruction of a damaged toilet facility at the MMT yard at Abrepo Junction, a number of new buses had been purchased to increase the fleet of buses at the depot, among others.

In an interview with THE PUBLISHER, Mr. Oduro said he could not have achieved those feats without the constant support of the president.

He also commended the MMT CEO, Albert Adu Boahen, Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah and Kumasi Mayor, Osei Assibey for their backing.
