LONDON — “Heartbroken” Thomas Markle has a message for his daughter, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, her husband Prince Harry and well, reigning monarch Queen Elizabeth II .

Appearing in a video interview live from California, Markle spoke with hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid about the current state of his relationship with his estranged daughter. During the interview, Markle claimed he has had no contact with Meghan and received no reply to a recent letter and multiple text messages sent to the Duchess.

“Every day I try to text her, I just haven’t receive any comment back,” Markle said, adding that he was disappointed in the lack of response from his daughter and was unsure why the rift was happening. “I keep asking her to respond back to me, I haven’t got any response back.”
