DCE Explains ‘God Is Love’ Issue

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Kintampo South in the Brong Ahafo Region, Alexander Gyan, has vehemently denied ever embezzling any money of ‘God Is Love Investment’.

Speaking to the media at Jema, the district capital of Kintampo South, Mr. Gyan said he was advised not to respond to the allegation being peddled by the NDC communicators but this time around, he has found it necessary to come out with the truth in order to set the records straight.

According to him, since the issue of Menzgold started, the NDC communicators have been using him as an example without checking the facts.  He said he worked with ‘God Is Love’ for two years and that neither was he a board member nor involved himself in any monetary transaction of ‘God Is Love’.  He said he was surprised that of all the workers of ‘God Is Love’, including some well known NDC members, only his name is being mentioned.

In his view, from the days of R5, Pyram, DKM to Menzgold, no single worker in these investment companies had been invited by the police to answer any question.

He asked: “Since NAM 1 was declared wanted by the Ghana Police Service and Interpol, which of his workers has been charged?”

Mr. Gyan has therefore admonished the NDC communicators to take him to court if they think he got involved in any monetary transaction when he worked for ‘God Is Love’.
