Stop The Politics And Help Maintain Peace In Dagbon – Information Minister To Politicians

The Minister for Information and Member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayirebi, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has urged the people of Dagbon to maintain the peace for there to be development.

According to him, “if there must be progress, there must be compromises and peace and the people have understood that….they know there must be progress so that there will be development…above all, the President has assured security"

A new Overlord of Dagbon, Yaa Naa Mahama Abukari II was crowned on Friday, 25th January, 2019 after 17 years of protracted disputes.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo while reading his speech at the investiture announced that Cabinet has approved a $30 million water supply project that will replace the old and dilapidated water system in Yendi and its catchment area.

Interacting with Kwami Sefa-Kayi on Monday’s edition of Peace FM morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah also urged politicians to put aside partisan politics and help maintain the peace in Dagbon.
