NDC Should Continually Keep Akufo-Addo's NPP In Check; They're Better In Opposition - PSR CEO

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Public Sector Reforms Mr. Kusi Boafo, wants the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to perpetually play a watch-dog role in opposition; by keeping taps on the government.

According to him, the NDC is highly efficient in opposition, especailly when they genuinely go about their business by not propagating diabolic or mischievous ideas.

Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Mr. Kusi Boafo noted that as part of measures to build the nation; it is prudent that the ruling government is kept on its toes by a vibrant opposition and directed to undertake projects that will inure to the benefit of all.

Thus constructive criticism by the opposition parties, particularly the NDC, is one of the best tools to propel the government towards national development.

We should criticize on fair grounds. It shouldn’t be always negative. So, I want to thank the NDC and tell them to do their job by keeping us in check. We’re there to correct those problems....you know there are some people they do not have the technical skills of a footballer, but when they sit behind a tv screen, they can perfectly analyse a game. That is how the NDC is. They suck at governance, but they are quite good with criticisms, especially when they don't taint them with propaganda and want to be fair. So they should keep it at,” he said.
