NDC Is Winning This Bye-election - National Youth Organizer Assures

The opposition National Democratic Congress [NDC] has expressed optimism of winning the upcoming Ayawaso West Wuogon bye-election despite sureness by the NPP that, ‘It is a cool chop’ for them.

According to the party’s National Youth Organizer, George Opare Addo, “we are winning this bye-election despite what people are saying about our candidate”.

NDC’s Parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Delali Kwesi Brempong has been hit with accusations that - he claimed to have questioned NPP’s intention to elect a woman as their candidate.

But Delali Kwesi Brempong has vehemently denied the allegation after describing the report as an attempt by the NPP to tarnish his hard-earned reputation and to score political points.

Mr Brempong is competing with three others in Thursday's by-election for the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat which became vacant after the death of Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko.

The NPP’s candidate has been highly tipped to win the contest but George Opare Addo in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ said his party will pull a surprise.

“We are not afraid despite the accusation, we are winning, we have prepared and I can assure you that the NDC is winning this bye-election,” he told host Kwesi Aboagye.
