The Member of Parliament for Kumbungu constituency in the Northern Region, Hon. Ras Mubarak has described President Akufo-Addo's ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration as the worst government in the history of this country.

According to him, the NPP Government is even worse than any government Ghana has ever had.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he indicated that although some past governments were referred to as ones that superintended over economic hardships, the difficult times Ghanaians are currently living in under the Akufo-Addo administration is the “worst” in many years.

“The level of the cedi depreciation against the dollar is unprecedented, but the President and the Vice have turned deaf ears to it. Ghanaians are completely disappointed . . . Look at all the negative reportage against Akufo-Addo’s government ever since he assume office, the high level of insecurity . . . what are they portraying, it is rather sending  wrong signal to the international community," he asserted.

He therefore called on Ghanaians to throw their support behind John Dramani Mahama for victory in 2020.
