NPP Youth Wing To Storm Kwahu With A Mega Easter Walk & Mini Rally

The National Youth Wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), led by the affable National Youth organizer, Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B) will organize a mammoth health walk on Saturday 20th April 2019 at Kwahu in the Eastern Region.

This is part of the yearly Easter celebrations organized by the party.

According to him, the party youth will on Friday, April 19 make a special donation to an orphanage at Nkwatia to put smiles on their faces ahead of the Easter festivities.

The walk will start from Kwahu Mountains through the principle streets of Atibie, Mpraeso, Obomeng and climax it with a mini rally at Obo public park.

Speaking on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Programme with Kwame Nkruma Tikesie, he quoted Carrie Latet’s popular saying that, “Walking is the best ancient exercise and still the best modern exercise”.

“So as youth we must always desire to walk into a state of well being and walk away from illness to be fit and healthy all the time for our great party and victory 2020”, he added.

Nana B also hinted that they will take the opportunity and inaugurate Eastern Regional Youth Watch Committee on Sunday 21st April, 2019 after the walk to empower the grassroots for election 2020.

In attendance will be the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Nana B added that the Kwahu health walk will also see scores of NPP Members, youth activists, party communicators, party volunteers and other youth group activists of the NPP.

He is therefore calling on all the rank and file in the party to join him to embark on this walk for peace, unity and good healthy living as there is so much to do for the party and the country as a whole.
