Ghana Is Retrogressing Under NPP, All We See Around Us Left, Right & Centre Is Crime - Kofi Adams

Former National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, says there is nothing good to write home about under the Akufo-Addo led NPP government with crime being the order of the day in Ghana.

According to him, there is no direction with those at the helm of affairs having lost focus, adding that it will only take the Mahama led NDC government to rescue the country and set it on the right trajectory of development.

“...as we see it now, nothing seriously is happening in Ghana. All we see around us, left-right-centre is crime in this country; you can’t see anything better going on in the country. We are not progressing but rather we are retrogressing quickly and so it is necessary that with immediate effect, NDC comes back to power to put the country on the trajectory of development”, he opined.

Commenting on the door-to-door campaign module adopted by the NDC members in Dome-Kwabenya Constituency on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, Kofi Adams believed the strategy will lead to an NDC victory in next year's elections, since the branches are the foundation of every party.

He claimed that over 95% branches of the main opposition party have been fortified due to the proper structures put in place after that woeful defeat suffered at the hands of the NPP in the 2016 elections.

For the first time in the history of this political party [NDC], we deliberately printed forms to capture details of everybody standing for election in the party at the branch executive level to the national executive level”, he stated.

“This time around, our branches are very solid, no doubt about that; about 95% to 97% of our branches are ready and solid for work compared to some time back and so it has made the door-to-door campaign very easier to do if they bring other people on board because there is leadership at every level in the party”, he stressed.
