The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku says they are going to "fight election 2020 like we are in opposition."

Sammy Awuku who was reacting to a recent report by the (EIU) said even though they are not going to rely on the report, they will pick on a few points to build on their strength and weaknesses.

“As the National Organiser, I take this prediction as another poll showing us our weakness and strength and encourage me as the National Organiser to do more. However, the NPP will fight 2020 election like we are in opposition; the NDC must understand that. And we will make sure that the work we did in 2016, we will do times two in 2020."

Awuku who was speaking on Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’ was however not surprised about the fact that the report gave a win to President Akufo-Addo in the upcoming 2020 election.

“I am also not surprised about the results of the EIU looking at the various achievements of the Akufo-Addo led government,” he added.
