‘The Ban on Stonebwoy And Shatta Wale Not Permanent, It Can Be Lifted At Any Time’ — Charterhouse PRO Clears The Air

Head of Communications for Charterhouse (the organizers of VGMA), George Quaye has said the bans that have been placed on Ghana’s two dancehall artistes, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are not permanent but rather an indefinite-meaning they can call them back at any time.

“There still an opportunity for them to come back because it’s not a lifetime ban neither is it a permanent ban, it’s indefinite meaning; there can be a time that the board will recall the ban.“

He added that “It’s not a harsh decision, we can even call them tomorrow or maybe in 5 years time, we just want to observe their behaviours, the fans should not get it wrong, it’s not lifetime ban,” he said this an interview with Peace’s Akwai Aboagye.

From the way George was speaking, we can clearly state that he was trying to send a message to the fans of these two artistes who are angrily demanding their monies used in the voting, to relax because they will never get it back.
