The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation has organized a sensitization workshop on Fire and Safety for the Market women at Takoradi Market circle in the Western Region, today, 7th June 2019.

Dr. Dominic Eduah, the CEO of GNPC Foundation at a brief ceremony handed brand new Fire Extinguishers to the Takoradi market circle women to serve as fire control measure.

He emphasized the need for the Market women to be aware of safety and preventive measures in order to make fire outbreaks in various markets a thing of the past.

The kind gesture was done in conjunction with Ghana Fire Service, PDS, Energy Commission and NADMO.

The women commended Dr. Eduah and GNPC Foundation for the kind gesture and assured them that all the designated points within the market would be provided with the fire extinguishers.
